Our Mission
The goal of the T-1 Enlightenment is to bring awareness to the dramatic differences between Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, raise funds for a cure, and improve the lives of those living with Type 1 Diabetes
T-1 Enlightenment Timeline
On November 5th 2008, The first T-1 Luminaries were lit to raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes

Within the first few years of starting the awareness campaign, the Enlightenment had grown to be one of the largest of its kind with luminary lit on all seven continents
Children's Congress
In 2013, Harrison went to D.C. as the JDRF Children's Congress delegate from Connecticut to spread T-1 awareness to our nation's leaders
On the 10 year anniversary of the fist luminary lighting, we look to Spread awareness even farther in the future
